  1. Delivery Charges

At Summer & Winter, delivery is calculated on all orders at the checkout stage within mainland England and Wales. For the Scottish Mainland and other off shore locations, including the Isle of Wight, additional charges may apply.

  1. Delivery Information

2.1 Standard Furniture Delivery

Usually 3-5 working days unless specified on the product page. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock we will notify you of any delay and despatch the item as soon as it is in stock. No payment is taken from the customer. Payment is taken prior to dispatch.

On rare occasions your purchases may be delivered outside of the quoted delivery window.

When the goods are dispatched, you will receive an shipment confirmation email. Once the goods arrive in a local depot, the courier will call to book in a convenient day. On some cases, the couriers may attempt delivery unbooked if there is space on the vehicle and the goods is passing by your address. If you are offered this, it is optional.

All standard deliveries are delivered on a pallet and are classed as curbside. Goods are not delivered to the room or choice or the garden as our couriers are not insured on the service we offer. For more information, please see below on “how a pallet delivery is made”.

Delivery is attempted at anytime during the day on the booked day between 8am and 6pm. We can on occasion provide more information regarding the delivery and the driver will attempt a call around 1 hour before the delivery, however this is not guaranteed as they can be working on a high volume of orders in a day.

Usually goods are kept in storage for 7 working days.

Please note we do not work, process or dispatch orders on Bank Holidays as there are no services available.

2.2 – Next Day Delivery

Next Day Delivery is available on selected products. Orders must be placed before 11am to be delivered the following day. Next Day orders placed after 11am on a Friday-Sunday will be delivered on the Tuesday (Plus one day if it is a bank holiday). Deliveries will be made between 8.30am and 6pm the following working day. Please call us for more information about our next day delivery policy. Next Day delivery is only applicable for mainland UK only.

All next day deliveries are delivered on a pallet and are classed as curbside. For more information, please see below on “how a pallet delivery is made”.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL COURIERS IN THE UK WORK ON A SUCCESS RATE OF AROUND 95%. IF YOU ARE ORDERING THE SET FOR AN EVENT, PLEASE ENSURE YOU ORDER AT LEAST 2-3 WORKING DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT.

2.3 – Saturday Delivery

Saturday Delivery is available on selected products. Orders must be placed before 11am Friday to be delivered on the Saturday. Saturday orders placed after 11am on a Friday-Sunday will be delivered on the Following Saturday. Deliveries are usually made between 8.30am and 1pm on Saturday’s. Please call us for more information about our Saturday delivery policy. Saturday delivery is only applicable for mainland UK only.

All saturday day deliveries are delivered on a pallet and are classed as curbside. For more information, please see below on “how a pallet delivery is made”.

2.4 – Set Day Delivery

This is the same as the standard delivery, however in the case of our set day delivery service, the goods will be delivered on the day you request. We do not call to book in this day and we expect that you have made any necessary arrangements to accept delivery on date you have requested on the order.

All Set Day deliveries are delivered on a pallet and are classed as curbside. For more information, please see below on “how a pallet delivery is made”.

2.5 – Parcel Delivery

Mainland UK Standard Delivery starts from £5.95 per parcel.

If goods are heavy or bulky, there delivery charge is higher and can be either £9.95, £19.95, £37.50 and £45.95.

Products may be sent out from multiple locations and therefore may arrive separately, but you won’t incur additional delivery charges as a result. If there is a safe place to leave your parcel, please remember to fill this information in when placing your order.

2.6 – 2 Man Delivery

We do not offer 2-man delivery.

2.7 – Pre-Ordered Goods

If items are placed on pre-order, the goods have been shipped out from the far east and are on sea transit. The times provided on the website are an estimate as containers may arrive slightly earlier or later. No payment is taken until we are in a position to arrange delivery to you. Once the goods arrive, they are shipped using our standard service and no special delivery services such as next day, set day and Saturday are available.

If the goods are required for an event, we do not recommend this method and it is best to opt for a product in stock.

2.8 – In Production Goods

If goods are in production, the set is currently being manufactured. We do not allow orders to be placed until the goods are in pre-order status.

How is a pallet delivery made?

A majority of our furniture is delivered on a pallet. This is a wooden crate onto which the goods are securely strapped. The reason why we provide this service is due to the reliable network in place around the UK, Fast overnight options, cost-effective transport and safe delivery of goods as they are upright during transit.

Our delivery is from 8am and 6pm on your requested day. The delivery of the goods is on a pallet and to the curb or front door if possible, and are usually made by a one-manned delivery unit.

Please note the drivers are not allowed to enter your premises. Should you require the goods to be delivered to the room of your choice, you will need to contact us for a price or please see below on section 2 Man Delivery to Room of Choice.

Our large goods items will be delivered in 7.5 tonne trucks, so it is important that you let us know in advance if you think we may have difficulties accessing your road or home.

We always advise that you provide a mobile number and that you are available on the day of the delivery should any delivery issues arise. We or the courier will always contact you directly to resolve any queries. We will try our level best to ensure the delivery occurs smoothly and would want to avoid a failed delivery. In the event this does occur, you will be charged for the failed delivery and the subsequent redelivery attempt. If a furniture delivery is booked with yourself and confirmed and you are not there to receive it, we reserve the right to charge you a minimum charge of £50 to cover the cost of the failed delivery.

Shipping to Europe

We are able unable to ship to Europe, however we can ship to logistics company of your choice and then the goods can be forwarded to your desired location.
